Soy, Honey Glazed Pork Chops

These are sweet and savory pork chops. It makes a great family dinner. My whole family loves these. It is a great way to get lots of protein.

Ingredients

  • 6-8 pork chops

  • 3 tablespoons of honey

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1/4 soy sauce

  • 4 garlic cloves

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • 1 bundle of green onions

  • Salt to taste

  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

Marinade

  1. In a large bowl, combine the honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, green onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well

  2. Add the pork chops to the bowl and mix. Put in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.

Cooking

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees

  2. In a large frying pan, heat a little bit of oil and add pork chops. Save the marinade for later use.

  3. Sear pork chops till brown, about 5 minutes.

  4. Once prok chops are browned, place them on a baking sheet. Bake the pork chops in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until fully cooked.

  5. In a saucepan, add the marinade and bring to a boil. After that, lower the heat and let simmer for 2-4 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.

  6. Poor sauce back over the cooked pork chops.

  7. Serve and enjoy.
